Calle Museo Caminito, Buenos Aires

See street art come to life at Calle Museo Caminito, a traditional alley that doubles as an open-air museum. Created by local artist Benito Quinquela Martin in the 1950s, the art project breathed life into a run-down part of town, transforming it into one of the city's most iconic spots. Appreciate the brightly colored houses and intricate paintings, which line the alleyway like a patchwork quilt. Tango lovers can share a passionate dance in the alley--this is where the famous Caminito tango was born. • The whole neighborhood is a charmes, with colourful houses, restaurants, the Caminito in Yes, the store of Havanna, famous with the statue of the pope, the art gallery, all very Argentine, you really feel in Argentina in Caminito. We received a lot of security recommendations, we were there in the morning and we had no problems. It is worth the visit

  • Wonderful ride. And if you're lucky enough to get sun, it should be better yet... It is worth spending a few hours there (I suggest the whole afternoon), eat, drink, see the local art (and buy), make guys and mouths a dancer Q you charge 15 reais for the photos, if lost in the Vilelas... It yields beautiful pictures!
