Take a trip into the city's past at Museo Nacional Estancia Jesuitica Alta Gracia y Casa del Virrey Liniers, located inside a former Jesuit residence built in the 17th century. Declared a World Heritage Site in 2000, these grounds and buildings portray an attractive Baroque style, with the rounded walls of the church at odds with most other religious buildings dating back to colonial times. The museum boasts several rooms designed to show how the Jesuits lived their daily lives, while a wealth of artifacts narrate the story of the city development over the last few centuries. • If you really like history, the content is unmissable, very interesting, but a lot "security guard" and the only guide are some posters or sheets with summary. I would insist with some guide in each room to explain why people come in and out just for the photos, you learn nothing this way and what they have there is gold. Misunderstandings on the subject don't waste your time there.

  • Beautiful place well kept, reminisce the history of the Jesuits located in front of the central plaza of Alta Gracia where you will find articles from that time and each sector has details of the history. It has models I recommend visiting the last room where you will find a picture of a woman donated to the museum Q has a very peculiar look. The whole museum has sensors to not access limited sectors and I found it fantastic the engineering Q used for the bathrooms considering the date when used
