Clock Tower, Tirana

#20 of 112 in Things to do in Tirana
Landmark · Tourist Spot
Climb to the top of Clock Tower for rewarding views of the city center. Although its clock face has been replaced multiple times over the years, the tower remains one of the most historically significant structures in the city. It was built and designed by the same man who designed the Et'hem Bey Mosque, Haxhi Et'hem Bey. A small museum next to the tower displays a few items of tradition clothing and tools. Tour this first, then the museum attendant will unlock the tower for you to climb. A set of 90 spiral steps takes you to the viewing level. Admission to the attraction is free.
