New Delhi

Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.
Spend the 3rd (Sun) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's much more to do: step into the grandiose world of Amber Fort, admire the striking features of Jal Mahal, make a trip to Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind, and look for gifts at Anokhi Clothing Store.

New Delhi to Jaipur is an approximately 2.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 40°C in September, and nighttime lows around 28°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
