Take a dip into the calm waters at Railay Beach, an isolated strip of sand accessible only by boat. The beach especially attracts rock climbers eager to tackle the limestone cliffs that frame it, with some 700 climbing trails in the surrounding area. Whether or not you scramble up the cliff face you'll enjoy the spot's relaxed atmosphere, clean sand, and clear waters. Onsite restaurants and other amenities cater to a wide range of tastes. The impressive cliffs of the coast provide excellent photo opportunities, and the isolated nature of the beach means you get unimpeded shots of some of Thailand's best coastal landscape. • High raised limestone cliffs harbouring a fascinating beach with warm beautiful sands. Without a boat it is almost difficult to reach this beauty in the heart of Thailand's wonderful landscape. The waters are warm hence inviting a swimming. The crowd isn't that big, attracts few locals who at times entertain visitors with diving from the high cliffs into the sea waters.
  • Railay beach is famous for its high limestone cliffs that flank the skyline at all angles. Accessible only by boat, and typically long-tail boats, which sound like an airplane and have long 20’ shafts that barely brush the waters surface. The small peninsula caters to many types: luxury beach bungalows, world-class rock climbing, and nature trails that meander atop the limestone cliffs.
  • This was literally a quick stop of in the taxi. But I enjoyed the city and the beaches. I did love this place and would definitely recommend. Great buzz, atmosphere to it all. Brilliant Vibe I felt.
  • Nice beach accessible by boat only. There are various bars and restaurants. A bit touristy, yet not too crowded. I would recommend to spend a few hours, max. half a day, here.
  • One of the best beaches in Thailand. It's located near Karbi and is 15 minutes long tail boat journey from Krabi. Only accessible by boat the beach is surrounding cliffs on both sides and is beautiful. It's less crowded with white sand and crystal clear water. Only few resorts here but they are classy and above average. Few bars also available right on beach.
