  • Totally worth a visit. Built in 1980s and still going on. This is a place where you can find Hindu and Buddhist ideologies and Idols. The wood art is very nice. It needs about an Hour to two hours for a complete walk around. The charge for entry of the Sanctuary of Truth is 500 THB.
  • It's a good place to visit if you like architecture. Made of wood, it's very huge. Only issue is, it's under renovation so still not of that quality due to wear and tear, may be post renovation, it's look will be better.
  • The Sanctuary of Truth is an all wooden temple (no steel nails) that overlooks the sea. The size makes it a truly magnificent sight. There is an entry fee. You have side activities for extra costs (elephant ride, boat ride, fish feeding, horse & cart ride etc). You have to wear a dorky hard-hat but it's worth it as the architecture is so stunning and intricate. I saw the dance performance too which is at no extra charge. There were only two shows which go for around 20 minutes at 11.30am and 3.30pm. I caught a motorcycle taxi from Pattaya which didn't cost much. If you do this organise for him to collect you by getting his phone number as the Sanctuary charges you double to get back into town.
  • Beautiful place, you can make good photos here. But this is not a temple, and I didn't feel the good atmosphere. There is a mini zoo, and smelly animals attract many fly's. Tickets 500 baht is too much! I wouldn't pay more than 150.
  • Very beautiful structure right beside the beach made of wood! I can't believe how they maintain this temple. worth a look at if your in town
