Phi Phi Islands, Krabi Town

3.8
#1 of 11 in Nature in Krabi Town
On Phi Phi Islands you can snorkel through clear waters, explore uninhabited natural areas, or hit the sand after sunset for laid-back beach parties. Initially settled by Muslim fishermen in the 1940s, the islands have since become popular with international travelers, resulting in a lively tourism sector. A strong nightlife and partying scene has emerged here since the early 1990s. When you visit, be aware that the volume of tourists has had some detrimental effects on the environment; be respectful and look to leave no footprint. Put Phi Phi Islands into our Krabi Town family vacation planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

Tour at the start of our hotel by Celtours in speed boats. Left very early the small port BANG RONG PIER to take full advantage of the site until the horde of tourists arrives! So if you seasick the trip to kho phi phi may be a bit difficult because according to weather conditions that can many many shake! We suggest you take a drug to combat seasickness before departure... When in doubt take the! The arrival at Maya Bay is a time that we can never forget... you've probably seen the movie "the beach", it was shot here and really the landscape is Heavenly! Landing on the beach for a few pictures before too many people n arrives (I advise you to make your live photos arriving!) then you can go walk to get to a point of view (or the also you'll a lot of people!) view merit d be seen and immortalized! Stunning landscapes! The site is blank, only the Army guards live in tents that you will see as you stroll. A beautiful vegetation and fantastic shades of blue! The stop is rather short but when we see happen all the boats loaded with tourists it does anyway not want to stay longer! Some may be disappointed to have been 2 hours boat for a short stop but worth a look anyway! The Bay is of rare beauty and if you have a bit of luck you can take the mythical pictures with the typical Thai wooden boats called the Longtail. After this stop direction Phi Ley lagoon for a bit of snokelling and then another island near "kho phi phi Don" for lunch. Celtours is a very serious Agency and Loïc, a french expatriate for 17 years who will accompany you with his crew of Greenview tower which is just adorable and awesome! I recommend them at 500% ☀️

A number areas of Thailand (North, Central, and threatened) Phi Phi Island is recommended: good atmosphere, nightlife, stunning views, quiet beaches (if you're looking for) and hotels. I would recommend more than a trip a day-but if its time you got is worth more to get there.

Went to the Islands during the tour from aneksa has never disappointed. Impressions for a lifetime! such a beautiful nature! And what of landscapes, one island paradise! Write reviews that a lot of people, it is true, because everybody wants to see such a beauty! Be mentally prepared for this. I can give some advice: take the cream solncezashitnyj, and it is not recommended to visit pregnant women! From us before sending a guide asking women whether pregnancy? It turned out there was one girl at 3-months. Take, it was removed from the tour. And still no asked guide does anyone have back problems, with a view to bring on more comfortable places, understand yourself on the water may all happen!, I believe that once in your life you need to visit these islands! Good luck to everyone! And take care of yourself! With very young children I would hardly suggested will be tough.

We booked a private tour on a private boat for only 1000 baht each. We did most of the famous things in one afternoon such as phi phi leh, snorkeling etc! I loved it

To be bluntly honest, taking a day tour to Phi Phi Islands was not exactly what we expected. Very crowded, the speedboat is uncomfortable to say the least and the going rates for the tour is 3500 baht per person unless negotiated. Not worth the price in our opinion but still beautiful te see.

Nice Waters for snorkeling, the views are spectacular. You should note that the island is a popular destination as such you have to expect large crowds where ever you go.

Don't waste your money. There are other things to see better than this. Nothing to do ,... you can swim elsewhere. If I could give -1 star I would.

Nice swing and many instagrammers. Also secluded and quiet beach
