Located within Bangkok's famed complex of royal palaces, The Ananta Samakom Throne Hall includes a museum and a reception hall noted for its one large dome and six smaller ones. • Big place. Lots of walking/waiting time. No camera/video. Gender discrimination: woman has to wear sarong even with long jean, men doesn't need. The inside doesn't worth any of the force law.
  • I went along December 2016. Big mix up trying to get in which wasn't good. Went to one gate and was told no entry as I had a bag? Then told to goto another gate to be told no entry. Then ended up at a third gate and finally got in. I got my ticket and then was told I had to buy a sarong. Not loan, buy one ?! So another 50 baht. So when I got into the main building and had my audio guide it was very nice inside with plenty to see and find out about. The use of beetle wings as a decoration impressed me more then all the silver and gold. One major problem that spoiled the visit was the hoards of Chinese. Large groups of about 40 at a time going around making lots of noise and a very loud tour guide who all shouted was out of order. So watch out for those !
  • Massive area, very impressive structures & well maintained grounds. The only issue is the amount of people. The line to go in the main building was huge, about an hour wait at least. Didn't think it was worth it in the heat.
  • The centerpiece of Bangkok's own Champs Elysees, this impressive two-storey white marble palace sits at the end of Dusit's long, wide Royal Plaza, a leafy ceremonial boulevard that's often the focus of regal pomp and ceremony during royal celebrations. And near Dusit zoo
  • Best Palace, need to wear full skirt for women and full pant for men. No photo camera mobile sunglass cap inside Palace. Go early morning...
