State Tower, Bangkok

4.0
#53 of 1,427 in Things to do in Bangkok
Shop, sleep, wine and dine at State Tower, one of Thailand's tallest buildings. Sip cocktails at the sky bar, one of the highest open air bars in the world, or enjoy a gourmet meal with panoramic views of Bangkok. Not one, but two five-star hotels call the tower home. Notable architectural features include the 40-story atrium, neoclassical pediments, and 30 m (98 ft) tall golden rotunda on the rooftop. Also housed in the building are condominiums, service apartments, offices, and retail units. Put State Tower into our Bangkok trip planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

The Scirocco, we have anticipated fireworks in front of the hotel, and may observe another fireworks on the river. The view up here is just great, that's a fact. That I however €60 for Bellini must pull the trigger in a glass, which has then already annoyed me because a beer will cost "only" €15. But as I said, anyone who must afford...

  • Superb service superb food superb view but a little bit pricey
  • This is exactly the Place, Where I come often to chill out. Great View. Awesome
  • The view is one of the best in Bangkok, service is top notch, and the cocktail prices are exorbitant! The crowd is predominantly foreigners and the dress code is strictly enforced.
  • Must visit for Tourist, roof top bar is amazing.
