  • Great experience from the get go. That is to say that you are greeted at the front entrance (to the building, not to the property which is adorned with “Construction site Keep out” signs... ignore the...  more »

  • Too many museums in Thailand. Most of them have the same information. Visited too many museums will feel that they are not precious. Nothing stunning. There is an event now call gender illumination for free entry which is a campaign that telling gay, lesbian and transgender be confident.
  • I’m sure this is one of the best museum in thailand. Super well-organized exhibition and staffs are very helpful. The topics of the exhibition changed over a year but not very often. Somehow, they always have a very unique way of presenting them and that makes it very interesting to visit the museum. Moreover, there’s a parking lot!!! Though it’s not very big but I believe it’s enough for visitor. There’s also a MRT station in front of it (not yet operated, still on progress).
  • BEST FOR: the tourists who just arrived in Thailand or tourists with children. On my last day of a 3 week Holiday in Thailand I visited the museum. Alot of it was redundant because of the 3 weeks of travel exposure... The exhibit is smaller than you expect. The building looks big but only 2 stories are exhibits. Worth it if you know NOTHING about Thai culture. If you already visited a bunch of musueums in Thailand, skip it.
  • The grounds of the museum are very clean and well maintained. The entrance is exactly as marked on Google maps, so I found it easily. There are many place to sit on the grass in the shade and I found the main building beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The museum is also free entrance on public holidays, which would made for an interesting day out in an unusual spot.
  • Very well presented museum in a beautiful building but it's level is mainly for children, which is great if you happen to be a child. I would have preferred a little bit more historical depth. There are also many gaps in the history presented. That may be to do with legal limits to what they can legally say. Glad i went though.
