Marina Water Body
Stroll along the ultra-modern waterfront promenade at Marina Bay. With impressive views of Singapore's skyline, outstanding shopping, and easy access to many of the city's best attractions, the bay always buzzes with activity. Check out the remarkable Helix Bridge, designed in the shape of a strand of DNA, and the many world-renowned gardens that add a splash of green to the area. With an abundance of bars, restaurants, and cafes, you can always stop to grab some refreshments and admire the views. • Marina Bay waterfront is a nice place to hangout. Some places along the waterfront is crowded at times. If you enjoy night photography, then you should visit it during the Ilightmarinabay program. It is beautifully illuminated. You could enjoy a stroll or simply sit n watch the beautiful sight of illuminated buildings n their reflections on the water. There's boat ride too if you desire
  • Visited Singapore in 2010 and found beautiful, neat and clean. Marina Bay is a good place to hang around with family and friends.
  • A nice place to walk in the evening after experiencing the gardens or the nearby malls. Lots of excellent photo opportunities and there is so much to do in the area that if you tire of the views you can quickly and easily slip into one of the many places of interest nearby.
  • Must visit place when you are in Singapore. I suggest you visit it both during the day, and enjoy looking at the bay from some of the nice restaurants with outdoor seating situated on the walkway around the bay; and also during the night when you can enjoy the lights, laser show and great view from Marina Bay Sands hotel observation deck. Don’t forget to take pictures with the lion statue, symbol of Singapore. Also check the official site to see if there are some interesting events in the bay (like Jazz festival – end of March/beginning of April).
  • Definitely a must-see in Singapore. Here are some things you shouldn't miss: 1. Enjoy the free laser light show at night 2. Swim at the infinity pool (must stay at the hotel) 3. Enjoy the panoramic views from the top (open to visitors for a fee)

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
