East Coast Park, Singapore

4.2
#1 of 9 in Beaches in Singapore
Gear up or wind down--the choice is yours--under the swaying palms of East Coast Park. This multifaceted park offers something for everyone, with an emphasis on outdoor recreational activities. Check out the beach volleyball pit, go on a cycling excursion, try cable skiing, go sailing, or dive into the skate park. There are plenty of picnic and barbeque pits available to make your own meals, or you can opt to visit one of the nearby restaurants. The beach is entirely man-made and protected by breakwaters, so feel free to dive right in. Put East Coast Park into our Singapore online day trip planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • For many, the strip of Riverfront on the East Coast Park is a recreational area. The weekend BBQ is announced to the tent. With the locals to get as interested tourist immediately in the conversation. In addition to the bathing facilities (clean water will more northbound to the airport) lures in the evening the lights: ships on roadstead, landing planes, fish restaurants and in the back of the high-rise residential building. The taxi service to the city centre is not a problem and inexpensive. Who plans a picnic, is well served by many restaurants.

  • ECP is as almost the only ' in South-East Asia in Singapore, ' where you can enjoy the feeling. Close to the equator along the sea, beaches, trailheads along the secluded, quiet. Singapore city skyscrapers and a lot of people off, often feel that the Southeast Asian thinking = recreation. O-Bike I mo-Bike if you install the app, but the bike sharing, such as foreigners, even useful for anyone who rents available along the beach featured what Thabo. As the center of trade in such a large cargo ship left a lot on the ocean, and the waters are not clean or a secluded retreat, which is the atmosphere.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
