Party the night away at Clarke Quay. Once a historical port and cargo center, the quay now throbs with energy as one of Singapore's liveliest night spots. Explore the refurbished warehouse buildings to find shopping by day and parties by night. Before you head to the clubs, fill up with a meal at one of the quay's many restaurants. • Nice place to spend the night and have a couple of drinks. Crowded and noisy, but take that in a good way. That’s the place to go if you enjoy the nightlife. Quite expensive, though. Had a gin and ton...  more »

  • Stayed in a hotel located in Clarke Quay in Singapore for the second time, so I went to Clarke Quay at night. It looks quite colorful so tourists and local people and a lot of people that I couldn't even walk there alone the shops there is a lot of fun. Eat at Hooters!!, I ordered a chicken and cheese fries at the outside of the ︎ river. Chicken's BBQ flavor and chorizo flavor. Both tasted thick and delicious. Sauce tomato chili like mozzarella cheese fries are also delicious!!! ︎ music is flowing at different places, helpful staff. You want to go there again and I think I was!! ︎

  • Clarke Quay is a nice place to hangout. Good restaurants and the River cruise was a great experience :). Variety of restaurants can be found here. The lights at night really brings out the best of Clarke Quay. :) Dining on the cruise style platform right on the river and enjoying the view was simply awesome. Would love to come back here again :)
  • A must visit place in Singapore. The riverside is beautiful. It has a touristy as well as a homely feel to it. You can sit on the riverbank and watch the boats sail by. For those who love to people watch, this is the best place to do so as you will see different people passing by. Live music for music lovers and a whole lot of outdoor restos and bar for foodies. This place comes alive at night as the lights lit up the whole place. A place where you will find a bit of everything!
  • This is a beautiful place. It’s so lively and fun to be in. There’s a lake with boating available. Even the boats are decorated and provide privileged rides. There is a mall nearby that can be visited if you want to go to a reasonable place to eat. Otherwise Clarke Quay is lined with its own set of restaurants with an amazing view of the water with boats going by in it. The entire place is lit up in the night when it looks the best. There is a phone service nearby and also a train that you can take from not far away.
  • Such a lively and beautiful place. We were there during Christmas and man it was full of people partying around. One end of the bay you have pubs and on the other side you have restaurant of all cuisine(even indian restaurant). It is recommended to visit this place during holidays.
  • Very nice place to have drink & food. There are quiet corner, great view, dynamic lighting, whole area under shelter. Plenty of happy hours offering very good deal

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
