Sitting at the point where three mountain rivers meet, the hill station of Munnar has become known as a tea-growing center in the south of the country.
Get in touch with nature at Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park and Anamudi Peak. Step out of Munnar with an excursion to Lakkam Waterfalls in Marayur--about 54 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at Tea Museum, admire the engineering at Mattupetty Dam, admire the natural beauty at Rose Gardens, and explore the activities along Kundala Dam Lake.

Teeming with history and heritage, Hyderabad draws visitors from all over the world with its old Indo-Islamic buildings, forts, and museums.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Sat): examine the collection at Salar Jung Museum, then step into the grandiose world of Golkonda Fort, then look for gifts at Krishna Pearls & Jewellers, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Birla Mandir. On the 14th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get in on the family fun at Ramoji Film City.

You can do a combination of taxi and flight from Munnar to Hyderabad in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of taxi and bus. In January, Hyderabad is slightly colder than Munnar - with highs of 34°C and lows of 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
