The blue-walled buildings in the old quarter of Jodhpur have a calming, quaint aesthetic when viewed from up high, but down on the streets the city bustles with a lively atmosphere that belies its toy-town color.
On the 18th (Sun), steep yourself in history at Mehrangarh Fort, steep yourself in history at Jai Pol, then steep yourself in history at Jaswant Thada, and finally admire the masterpieces at Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum.

Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.
Popular historic sites such as Amber Fort and Nahargarh Fort are in your itinerary. Get in touch with nature at Elefriend and Grass Farm Nursery. Fly from Udaipur to Jaipur in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. In March, plan for daily highs up to 37°C, and evening lows to 20°C. On the 27th (Tue), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Bharatpur.
