  • One the biggest and the most amazing forts I've ever seen but I feel sad that such a heritage place with a great and a rich history is so poorly maintained. It has a huge garden in it and many temples one can visit. And yeah it was totally worth to climb those stairs just to get to the fort. "Life is a climb, but the view is great" I'd say the same for this fort !
  • They say this fort is invincible because of its geographical location. And yes it looks invincible. Main portion of fort is closed for local public. Small architecture can be seen here and there. Few temples are also present here. Basically people comes here for praying lord Ganesha.
  • This fort stands majestically atop a hill overlooking the entire park. The walk up, one of the only places this mode of transport is possible, is a very refreshing and exciting one as even the big cats have been spotted up there! The view of the surrounding keeps getting better and better as you go up but the view from the fort itself can only be described as breathtaking. The soaring Serpent eagles, vultures and other birds can be seen at eye level. Many animals can also be seen along the edges of all the water bodies, which are all visible from here. The fort itself also offers many interesting architectural and historical sights worth viewing and photographing. A trip to the fort is a must if you are a first time visitor to the park. A guide with a good knowledge of the fort's history would always be a good idea.
  • Just awesome place. Way to fort is too good. One must really see the fort. Fort is constructed on the mountain. I liked climbing the mountain. It will take around 30-45 minutes to climb the mountain. There are many ancient temple in the fort which are functioning. Views from mountain top are mind blowing. Winter is the right time to visit the place. One other thing I liked is there peacocks everywhere. And there are many monkeys which won't cause any trouble for tourists but just don't carry any food items.
  • This is one good fort on the hill top which gives a view of tiger reserve jungle around. One can have a view of lake from the fort. There are different portions within fort depicting it's glorious history. One can observe flocks of langoors while visiting temple at the end of fort. We were luckier to spot leopard on the way to fort in our car.
