  • The museum is in the city center. Red steps lead up to the blue building with a mural on the wall. The ticket booth is inside. And then you walk into the museum structure which has a spiral shape. No ...  more »

  • Most people simply visit Andaman for the beaches. But for people who want to know more about the island's history and its historical tribes, the Anthropological museum is a must visit place. A 1 hour stop is more than sufficient to see the museum and understand the various tribes and how Andaman people has a varied cultural imprints from various states and a fee countries.
  • This museum is very much informative in order to understand different tribes existing in Andaman and Nicobar Islands as well as to understand their living patterns and habitats... They also provide information about several tribes over the World... Thanks!
  • Source of good information no doubt. Mostly photography and model based. Real items would have made it better.
  • The place is nice to know about the tribal communities of Andaman and Nicobar islands and sentinel island. Their culture and tradition is well shown with pictures and articrafts. Well maintained. Photography is not allowed here and also there is a souvenir shop. Entry ticket costs Rs. 40/-
