Begun in 1200 and completed over the following two centuries, the tower stands at a height of 73 m (240 ft). • Love this place. A famous historical heritage of Delhi. If you are interested in history then this place is for you. Although at every part the monument detail information is written but I believe a good guide can add more fun to the visit. You have to pay Rs 30 fees for ticket. Parking is paid. Food options outside the monument are cheap and unhealthy. Toilet and drinking water is available inside the monument.
  • A very nice place to go with family and friends. Campus is big, it will take 1-2 hours to properly roam around and take a look of the architecture. Entry ticket is Rs. 30 per person over 15 years old. No ticket for children below 15 years old. ( as on 2 July ,2017 ) . Ticket counter is on the other side of road. It is all days open.
  • Well maintained heritage place. Can visit with family. Do secure your belongings. Parking space is OK. Avoid going post 11 till 3 if the sun is out. You will face tough time managing the heat. Entry fee was 30rs for Indians and parking fee was 10rs
  • One of the must visit place at Delhi and well maintained. Symbol of architectural excellence prevailed during Maugham era. Even though most of the ancillary areas are damaged, main monument is protected. Also the garden is very good
  • Nice historical place. Gaze upon the history itself. Don't forget to check out the iron pillar. Parking is OK. Can't take bags near the Minar (ladies hand bag exception). Check the weather forecast beforehand. Don't go with the sizzling sun shining in the summer. You can keep the bag in the cloak room, which didn't seem very secure.
