Bahai Lotus Temple, New Delhi

4.2
Built to resemble a flower, Bahai Lotus Temple serves as a place of worship offering freedom of expression to all faiths. Marvel at the architecture used in the temple's construction, from the 27 petal-like marble structures that make up the exterior, to the soaring central hall within. Afterwards, you can explore the extensive temple grounds to get a good look at the "blossom" from multiple angles. Be sure to check the onsite information center for details regarding events and services at the temple, as well as the Baha'i faith itself. • Restrictions at the site undermined the experience. It’s a huge park-like site, but you are not allowed to stray from a single cordoned walkway. No benches anywhere, no shade from the blistering heat....  more »

  • It is very nice place to visit. A peaceful and delightful place where you find meditation and spiritual environment for everyone who soever belong to any community. Outside place is very nicely decorated with various flowers and fountain. You feel extreme pleasure spending time here. Though u don't have any interest in spiritual things then also it's constructional beauty will take you to a next level of happiness. It fallows Baha'i religion all over the world. Very nice place..... Must visit.🤗

Kamal Mandir is a Bahiai worship site located near the Nehru Place of Delhi, India's capital. It is a unique temple in itself. There is no idol here or any religious activity of any kind, on the contrary, various holy articles related to different religions are read here. For the people of India, the lotus flower is a sign of God's incarnation as well as being a symbol of sanctity and peace. This flower teaches to be holy and clean despite blossoming in the mud, as well as it is also indicative of how religious competitiveness and even living within the physical prejudices, a person can be the most unconnected of them. About eight to ten thousand tourists visit the Kamal temple daily and abroad. The tranquil atmosphere here is helpful for prayer and meditation.
  • It's a very relaxing place where u can sit and meditate. Children will like the area outside the lotus temple, inside its very calm and peaceful. It makes resound so u can't shout inside. It looks extremely beautiful from outside the way it's made. The design is excellent. Definitely see the place ,it's highly recommended.
  • A place of intense peace, enlightenment, self motivated and internal happiness. This is the most well maintained natural heritage of our nation which provides all sort of facilities to his visitors. This place is also known as bahai house. The best part of this place is there is no particular religion dominating on this place. People of each and every religion can visit this place and pray to his/her almighty with full spiritual manner. Do visit this place if you ever get a chance.
