  • Good location to spend time with family. Speed boring, slow boating, peddle boating available with a little bit of waiting time. Speed boat charges 750/- per boat. Gaming area is also there.  more »

  • This is a must visit, the lake formed by the Dam is clean, and there is clear water. Definite fun for boating but heavy rush, you have to plan well in advance.  more »

  • Mattupetty Dam situated close to Munnar is a popular sightseeing spot . In summer time you will not see the dam working. However there is plenty of water for boating activities. Close to the dam is echo point. From here if you shout loud enough across the river you can actually bear your voice echoing . Truly amazing . On the way you will find boards saying ' elephants crossing' but do not expect to see elephants all over the place. We spotted a family of 4 to 5 elephants in a spot not very far away from the road. There are a lot of shops for tourists selling clothes , hats , locally made soaps and foodstuff.
  • This am is situated at the very beautiful bank of a river. Between hills, the river flows through the valley. Wonderful place to capture nature throigh the lens. It is advised that one should cross the dam by walking only so that the nature can be enjoyed and your eyes may soothe.
  • Amazong place to must explore in Munnar. Dam gives a breathtaking view. Peaceful place. Perfect place for picnic with family, partner and friends. We opted for high speed boat which was amazing. Apartment from that it is a good place for nature lovers. We had lunch in lake view restaurant which was super awesome. Very economic and super taste.
  • I don't have words to tell about this place. It was an amazing view from dam. I really enjoyed at this place. Near to Dam we can have Boating and Eco point. It is near to Munnar. But little bit Traffic jam is there. Very Good place to See. So Don't miss this place when you visit Munnar
  • The dam is nice however the place is ill managed. The stairs leading down to the dam were in bad condition. Not sure if it's because the water level rises during monsoon but with the amount of tourists coming there I expected more. The place wasn't clean at all. The view however is very nice.
