Triund Hill, McLeod Ganj

4.7
Hike the easy, popular route up Triund Hill to gain extensive views of the valley and mountains. Set among dramatic peaks, the lush green hill acts as a beginners' hike, and many use it to acclimatize and orient themselves to the area before tackling some of the region's more difficult climbs. The 6 km (3.7 mi) trail takes you through a forest and past numerous small stalls selling refreshments, before finally reaching a camp area at the top with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery. • This is once in a lifetime experience that no human should ever miss, you never know what magical creatures you might come across while you camp at this hill. You will be blown super away not only by the views but the vibe this place has. It changed my life, be ready to change yours.
  • Mighty Himalayas foot hills, a wonderful natural destinations for young trekkers.. real beauty of nature. One can stay in tentage accommodation and enjoy nature.. Awesome
  • Easy trek hence good for beginners and people having breathing problems. Along with an asthmatic person in our group, we easily managed to trek to the top in 6 hours. Reached the peak by the evening so we could easily see the sunset. Our hired guide arranged for the food, sleeping bags, tents and bonfire up there for the night. The cityscape in the night looked amazing from up there. Next morning post witnessing a beautiful sunrise, we left for McLeodganj. Best time to visit is during summers.
  • Awesome destination to explore. Really beautiful but we can reach there only after 5KM.to 7KM of trekking but you can find number of small shops or tea stalls for food and beverages. If you like trekking and it's your first trekking this trek will be good for you as it is short and provides really nice view and snow.
