(1,000+ reviews on the web)
Waterfall Nature / Park
The tallest waterfall in India, Dudhsagar Falls is fed by the Mandovi River, which swells us massively with monsoon rain water. With an average width of 30 m (100 ft) and height of 310 m (1017 ft), the four-tiered waterfall truly inspires with its grand size. Many tour operators offer monsoon treks to this spot--the waterfall is at its most impressive during the wet season. The surrounding deciduous forests shelter rich plant and animal life. • One of the coolest place in India.. People who love mountains, waterfalls, train & adventure, this is it.. I was fortunate to do a railway track trek (which is now illegal) with my friends, we walked from Castle Rock to Dudhsagar.. Best vary was we did it during monsoon and enjoyed getting drenched in water, the water falls was too fierce to go near, though we enjoyed many small falls n creeks on the way.. The government is doing organized trek and visit to this falls now, do go through proper channel if planning..
  • Excellent place to spend a day or two. Was Awestruck with natural beauty. Can't get full idea by photos must visit to experience it's magnificence. Go with your friends, but warn you take food with you. Train is viable option to visit but you have to walk 5 miles from castle rock station along rail tracks. The journey is worth every bit of it n you can enjoy as long as you want. Nice camping experience.

  • We had a lots of fun in middle of Natural Environment...... Waterfall is so high and amazing... And the train tracks makes more adventurous.... U can see fishes in the water clearly... It was priceless experience to have waterfalls water on me...... Must visit place....
  • A must visit place. We get to go in the waters and we get to go near to the falls and is an extraordinary experience. Do start early in the morning so you can reach the base at 9 as it gets a little to crowded latter on. The roads to the falls are a total ups and downs but it is so much fun! Yet again, must visit.
