  • Marine Drive is a picturesque promenade in Kochi, Kerala, India.[1]It is built facing the backwaters, and is a popular hangout for the local populace. Ironic to its name, no vehicles are allowed on the walkway. Marine Drive is also an economically thriving part of the city of Kochi.[2]With several shopping malls it is as an important centre of shopping activity in Kochi. Major fast food joints, including Marrybrown, DiMark, Coffee Bar are present along the walkway. The view of the setting and rising sun over the sea mouth, and the gentle breeze from the Vembanad Lake has made Marine Drive an important tourist destination in Kochi. Hundreds of people (both natives, and tourists) throng the walkway during the evenings. The walkway starts from the High Court Junction and continues until the Rajendra Maidan. There are also several boat jetties along the walkway.[3] കേരളത്തിലെ എറണാകുളം കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു മനോഹരമായ വിനോദസഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രമാണ് മറൈൻ ഡ്രൈവ്. • Nothing special. You can just park your vehicle here and sometimes you will find some shows and cultural activities. However you can walk around the marine drive. That's the good part of it.
  • yep, there is marine drive too in Kochi... The Marine Drive in Kochi offers a combination of beautiful views of the huge backwaters and the sea, as well as an array of modern shopping options. there are loads of little local malls and places to poke your head into. We had been here around 4.30pm and we had taken the local boat which takes you for a one-hour long ride and after that we took a long walk on marine drive. it is one of the best places in Cochin to spend your evening. Only thing the backwater is not so clean and sometimes bad smell is also prevailing. Great place to walk around, chill and watch the sunset
  • Nice place to visit. Had a good time. Went for boating on a rainy day.
  • Nice place to spent evening...the road side market is very nice, kids really enjoy here. cleanness is a major concern...hence should be looked upon.
