  • An archaeological museum. The King of Cochin had his administrative and residential area here. Popular for International tourists. The visit takes us into a world of surprise where we will truly get astonished by the set up the ancients kings had. Pls be aware that serious security checks are implemented for protection of the museum. You can see a deer park and also spaces to sit and relax after a long walk through the museum.
  • Its an archaeological museum. It can be a weekend destination. You can enjoy the alluring beauty of a palace here. And also you will be delighted as u see deers in the backside of the palace. This palace is one of the favourite locations of film industry. Have to see once, its a good place to hangout.
  • Good artefacts exhibited.. Plan for at least 2 hours to quickly glance through the items. Renovations in progress. The deer park is too crowded and poorly maintained. Don't forget to locate the dinosaur. 😉
  • The ecosystem surrounding this Palace is quite comforting. The lush greenery and the architecture are a feast to a photographer. If you are planning to visit; there are high chances that you will miss the Terms and Conditions written behind the ticket. Those terms are - Footwear and Mobile Phones are not allowed inside the Palace. If you don't read the Terms you will end up paying it for the Cloakroom at the Entrance of the palace. Leave your valuables and footwear in the car otherwise you will definitely feel cheated. Photography is charged and it is allowed only outside the Palace. Most of the exhibits are loaned or bought from the Royal Family of Kerala. The architecture is mesmerizing. This museum reminds me of the Salary Jung Museum in Hyderabad. The exhibits are few in the Main building. Apart from the Main hall there is Artillery Gallery and the Main Palace. If you don't mind the stinky Toilets and Boys & Girls sitting at secluded spots; do give it a go.
  • Beautiful and calm place to spend a day with family and kids. Felt relaxed after going there. Was able to get a glimpse of royal life lived by the King of Kochi.
