One of the prime attractions in upper Coonoor. For a green area surrounded by rolling tea estates, hills and valleys, this park is extremely average fare. Probably will be great when many of the plants are in bloom. We were here in May 2017. Poor upkeep , on going maintenance etc had parts of the park closed. A very small lake and some boating available. Plenty of walkways. Not recommended for people with walking issues and elderly. Good for morning walks. Opens about 7am.

A great place for tree lovers. It has an awesome arsenal of trees and flowers spread across a huge area. The atmosphere is very soothing and calm. Usually gets highly crowded on weekends.Very beautiful garden is this, really loved.

Good place, well maintained, good for both kids as well as adults. Lots of rare species of trees can be seen here. Very good climate even on summer days.

Wonderfully well maintained huge park in Coonoor. One of the topmost destinations to chill in Coonoor. Yeah.... For people who are not that fascinated by the beauty of trees and plants will find the place normal. Nevertheless the boating facilities and huge picnic spots are a plus.
