  • The whole day excursion works like this: [ Car ride from Port Blair to Baratang (4 hours) -> Ferry ride(10 minutes) -> Speedboat to reach the village where the limestone caves are(20 minutes) -> Walk ...  more »
  • Well this requires you to spend a full day if you are travelling from Port Blair...takes a lot of time away from your schedule...caves are good no doubt...  more »
  • A must do for anyone interested in an off beat destination . The drive through the forested area and the boat ride through the mangroves are the highlights of the trip. Lucky few can even see the Jarw...  more »

  • Not so big but beautiful natural beauty. The lime stones is of different types and shapes. One is like human jaw, the other is like our spinal cord. One is like a lotus the other is like limbs. All are made naturally. Water is coming out from some stones. The guide with the tourists were depicting and illustrating the history of the cave beautifully. Being small only 30 to 40 persons may enter at a time. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to visit the full cave. There are one small refreshment centre near the cave. After walking 1.5 km visitors can take rest here for a while drinking a glass of lemon water. Above all it's a beautiful place which one should not miss during the tour to Andaman.
  • Nice naturally beautifull place.. It's interior part of Andaman. To reach this place we need to cross reserved forest around 50 to 60 km and than we need to cross the back water through barge and we need to travel in the backwater through motor boat distance around 6 to 7 km. And then we need to walk around 1 to 1.5 km. But it's awesome experience.
  • Lovely place .. marvellous lime stone designs which are formed naturally. Boating around 15 minutes through mangroves is awesome. And tracking of around 1.5 km through jungle is thrilling one..!!
  • Experience Beauty of NATURE. Though, much modern facilities aren't available here, you will be surely surprised if you are a nature and wildlife lover.
  • The thrill of reaching the cave is better than the cave itself. Although this sounds anticlimactic, the beautiful boat ride through the mangroves to reach this place is divine. The caves themselves are historic, and amazingly beautiful. Their size is a disappointment, though. Can barely fit 30 people in one go. Be mindful, the island has a few hundred caves, but you are allowed to visit only one.
