  • This is one of the places that are remembered throughout life. A trekking two hours of ascent and descent, very workable for any. When you get to the monastery the feel of that touching the sky, the spirituality of the place and its location make it something unique. Some tips: first upload to first hour, to avoid match with horses loaded with tourists who cross your path. Carry sticks, we thank especially the downhill. Extraordinary experience.

  • The way from Paro to Taktsang is very beautiful. There is a beautiful river along with the way. I really enjoy my way to Taktsang to going there by Foot. Well, it's long way but still you feel very fortunate to go there by your foot. In Taktsang (Tiger Nest), there is tourists place on the mountain. And to reach there, is a little bit difficult but enjoyable. You have to climb mountain earlier so you can reach there before evening. Once you let, you can't go there in Evening.
  • One of the best places to visit in Bhutan. The trek up and down including 1hr visit can be done by beginners in about 5-6 hours. I visited in March, It got a little cold above and would recommend warmer clothes for upstairs. The caves are mesmerizing and a place to savour for. The entire aura of the place is simply amazing.
  • The best hiking experience one can get at this place. Its a 4 to 5 hr trek round trip. The trek starts from morning 7 a.m to 4 p.m. One can avail a donkey service to trek up to the cafe at the halfway. Delicious buffet served at the cafe and snacks as well. Various international cuisines to try out.
  • A must visit place. The hike is about 3 hours one way for an average person. Fast youngster's can raceu up within 2 hours. There is a restaurant halfway (also the place where the horse ride stops). We felt it expensive, but then the effort to make the food available at that altitude justifies the price. One needs to be at the top by 2 PM to get the best pictures of the tiger's nest, before that the shadow of the mountain covers the monastery. The monastery itself is very nice to visit. There is a security check just before the entrance and also a place to store all your belongings (a safe with a lock is available free of charge)
  • One of the best place to visit in Paro. The temple is situated at quite a height in the mountains which requires quite a long way of hiking to reach there. Horses are also available with which you can cover around 60% of the trek. However the rest of the distance is to be completed by foot. The temple is quite awesome and beautiful situated just at the side of the mountain. The walk to the temple is worth every bit. Really a must visit place in Bhutan..Quite awesome
